Terms of use — Side

Last updated: May 14, 2026 · Contact: sidebudget@gmail.com

1. Who we are

These terms govern your use of the Side mobile application, related websites we operate for Side (for example sign-in and checkout pages), and the services they provide (together, the “Service”). “We,” “us,” and “our” mean McCunes Edible Spoons LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company, which offers the Side / Side Budget product. For questions about these terms, contact us at sidebudget@gmail.com.

2. The subscription

Side offers an annual membership at the price shown at purchase (today, USD $30 per year, subject to change for new purchases after we update the price in the store or on our checkout page).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service (no hacking, scraping to compete, harassing others, or illegal activity). You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.

4. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” Side helps you organize information you provide or import; it is not financial, tax, or legal advice. Bank connectivity depends on third parties (such as Plaid); we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free operation.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the membership in the twelve (12) months before the event, unless a higher minimum applies where you live.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new “Last updated” date on this page. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email where we can reasonably do so. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

7. Governing law

Unless mandatory local law says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. Subject to protections you may have under the law where you live, you agree that state or federal courts located in Wisconsin have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the Service.
